Cafe' Rose': Homemade Food, Wine, & Guest Suites!

Are you looking for a place to eat homemade lunch specials with local ingredients? Or maybe you’re traveling through beautiful Clayton County and need a home away from home to stay for an evening or a weekend escape? Perhaps you’re wanting to taste some Iowa-grown and handcrafted wine?

Get all of the above at one place in Edgewood. Look no further than Café Rosè!

Café Rosè and owner Rosie want to make all the visitors feel like family with their hospitality, comfort food, handcrafted wines, and cozy guest suites.

The café is open daily except for Wednesday and Sunday (so Rosie can have more time to devote to her passion-- winemaking). They feature a homemade lunch special and desert and always have salad and homemade soup. Café Rosè also has a banquet room that can fit up to 40 people to host your next gathering.

Rosè maintains a growing list of wine that is created in small batches with grapes tended to by Rosie herself. Buy a bottle (or a few) or bring friends to enjoy a wine tasting. With unique names like Cherry Bombshell, Happy Trails, Cowgirl Boots & Bling, Rodeo Clown Blush, and 8-Second Red, your options are friendly and fun.

Stay in one of the three guest suites located on the main floor and upper level of a turn of the century bank. The Delaware Suite has two rooms while the Madison Street Studio has one. The Clayton Suite, available after June 1, has four rooms with a full-size refrigerator and range which makes the perfect place to stay for an extended period of time.

After visiting Bixby State Preserve, a few miles away, it would be good to sip a glass of Rodeo Clown Blush or 8-Second Red and wrap you mind around the rare phenomenon, which you just encountered, algific talus slope.
