Monona Pharmacy: Offering Convenience to Clayton County Residents and Visitors

Monona, Iowa has that close-knit community feel that is the perfect place to raise a family. There is so much to see, do, eat and experience in Monona, which is located in scenic Clayton County just inland from the mighty Mississippi River. Every town like Monona has at least one quintessential business that brings the community together and offers the necessary services that its residents need. Since 1983, the Monona Pharmacy has been that business offering quality and convenient service to Monona residents.

Owner since 2001 and pharmacist Todd Burkle said, “We liked it here, and decided to move to Monona because it is a very good community to raise a family.  It’s a nice and small rural community that was about the same size as the communities we grew up in. We have a lot of friends here that are customers at the store as well. It’s just a nice, small and close-knit community.”

In addition to offering health care products and services, the Monona Pharmacy is also a gift store which features Hallmark cards for all occasions, women’s seasonal fashion and accessories, handbags and wallets, and gifts for all occasions.

The Monona Pharmacy understands that you are busy, which why they have recently launched a new website and app which allows you to refill your prescription at your convenience. Also, their website provides links to answers for common medical questions as well as news stories to keep you up to date on your health and well-being.

Along with the online prescription refills, the Monona Pharmacy also offers free in town delivery to its valued customers.

Whether you’re a Monona resident or a visitor touring the beautiful sights of Clayton County, the Monona Pharmacy is here to help.
