Suhdron Fabrics: A True Quilting and Crafting Paradise

When people from all over the country walk into Suhdron Fabrics, there is a collective *gasp* as their eyes scan the 20,000 bolts of vibrant, colorful fabric.

Located in Monona, “The Garden City of Iowa,” Suhdron Fabrics has been owned and operated for 45 years by Lorraine and Dwaine Nordhus (spell it backward to get Suhdron!) with the help of their daughter and friendly, educated staff.

Suhdron Fabrics, also known as “The Mall,” has three floors that make it a quilter and crafter’s paradise. Customers travel from all over the country to visit Suhdron Fabrics for their wide variety of fabrics, in every color, texture, and pattern imaginable—20,000 bolts to be exact! Suhdron Fabrics also has some of the finest sewing supplies, patterns, how-to books, notions, and bulk batting. Browse their wide selection of remnant fabrics to find just what you need and save money while doing it!

You can count on the experienced staff of Suhdron Fabrics to help even the most talented crafters with their quilting, sewing and crafting projects. Lorraine and Dwaine love to turn their customers into friends, who will always come back to visit and shop.

If you are a quilter or love to do different crafts, Suhdron Fabrics is a dream destination for people far and wide. Open Monday through Friday and for 2 ½ hours on Saturday, get lost in the sea of fabrics for hours. Your creative mind will be at home in Suhdron Fabrics!
