Togie Pub

My Mom was visiting this week from South Dakota.  She's originally from this area and wanted to be able to catch up with everyone while she was here. After spending the day in Cresco, she thought we might as well go west to Saratoga.

Her long time friend, Sheryl Sovereign, just opened up Togie Pub in Saratoga, which used to be Annie's Cantina.  A bunch of us cruised over to see what it was like.  Of course, we knew the service would be great because Sheryl is a hoot.  She's so excited to have her own business again and still deciding on some of the menu items since she just opened.

We chatted and caught up for awhile with some drinks.  Her bartender was great keeping up with all of us.  There were people coming in and out all night who we knew from Riceville and Saratoga, so we got to see all kinds of old friends.  We all ordered something different so we could "test out" her cooking skills.  Everyone said their food was great, and I thought mine was wonderful.

We had a great time catching up with each other and I was so glad my Mom could see everyone on her visit!
