Happy colorful trails abound in Northeast Iowa, especially with the highly anticipated return of the Art in the Park Fine Art Festival in Elkader on August 20 and 21, 2016! Join us in beautiful Founders’ Park, with wide level sidewalks, for a fun-filled weekend!
This free outdoor art festival hosts 50 professional artists selling work in diverse mediums such as painting, mixed media, wood works, wearable fiber art, pottery and ceramic, encaustic, film photography, and much more!
Art in the Park offers up a weekend filled with toe-tapping, live music as musicians share the great sounds of blues, folk, classic light rock, gospel, acoustic, spirit flutes and more!

The Creation Station, children’s tent, offers free art activities for youngsters of all ages, offering a fun time for kids while the adults shop art! On Saturday at 2 p.m., The Fever River Puppeteers will perform the magical “Goldilocks and the Three Healthful Bears.” This spellbinding musical captivates children and adults alike as the story unfolds with dramatic flair! Meet the characters after the show and get pictures taken with these magical characters!
Love funky flair? Come see the special art show hosted by the Clayton County Farm Bureau: “Rural Character." The exhibit shows creative found-object art made by regional agricultural folks—these playful, one-of-a-kind creations must be seen!
Join us at Art in the Park on Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21, 2016. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and go to 5 p.m. and the hours Sunday will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
