DECORAH-- The Center for Faith & Life (CFL) is the central hall located on the grounds of Luther College in Decorah. The CFL is Luther's main auditorium that frequently hosts concerts, motivational speeches, and other inspiring performances and presenters. It's a tremendous cultural resource for the region, and is about to play host to yet another talented group of musicians.
What can you expect from the event
The Hot Sardines are one of the top up-and-coming jazz bands of New York today. The burgeoning group elicits a large following wherever they go. And its no wonder. The Hot Sardines are truly astounding and impressive to watch. They're a not-to-be missed contemporary jazz-pop fusion that's unlike anything else. Concert-goers will surely enjoy the music and immerse themselves in the diverse and versatile performance, featuring Parisian vocals from their French-crooning lead singer Miz Elizabeth.
The Hot Sardines was formed in New York in 2010. Evan "Bibs" Palazzo is the band's phenomenal pianist. There are eight members in total. Some of the other players include Jason Prover (trumpet), Alex Raderman (drums), Evan "Sugar" Crane (bass), Sam Raderman (guitar), and Pete Lanctot (violin/fiddle).
Tickets: $22 for Seniors (65+), Students ages 4-18 are $15, and the cost is $24 for all other visitors.
