This is the first season I have been a vendor outside of my hometown in Spillville and I am enjoying meeting so many of you and showing my work off in person, than by just my facebook photography page. It warms the soul and your immense support gives me confidence to continue to display my work. A special thanks for all the craft show vendors who encouraged me to spread my wings and also those who have helped me with display equipment and guidance and from the art of display from veteran vendors. Rounding out my craft sale experience with my holiday events practically every evening until after the holidays, I will make my last appearance in the vendor circles for the year at The Oaks in Decorah during a busy holiday event weekend for the city, bringing in quite a crowd, I’m sure. So if you can’t make it to Postville this weekend, stop in at Decorah check out the variety of vendors in Decorah and tell me you saw the blog here at Imagine Northeast Iowa. J
Before I end this blog, I’d like to give a big shout out to the devoted team of Nancy Turner and Jackie Lechtenberg for hosting the annual Country Christmas Craft Boutique annual event, drawing many to Postville for 35 years and making it so successful year after year! Lots of hard work, dedication and planning goes into such a large event and it is the perfect weekend for the ladies after pulling off a fantastic feast for the family! Plus, thanks for helping a new vendor with a vast amount of queries feel comfortable about setting up displays with fragile glass enclosed framed work, besides the light canvas.
Come out and support your small businesses on Small Business Saturday at the Postville County Christmas Craft Boutique! It’s one of the best shows in Northeast Iowa! See you there and mark your calendars for next year, each year it is on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
