One taste of these cupcakes and you might think you died and have gone to Heaven, floating on a fluffy, dreamy, creamy cloud of sweetness!
Find out what everybody is raving about at their holiday event Thursday, December 5th from 4 to 7 p.m, at Pinter’s Gardens and Pumpkins. Owners, Shane and Elisa Pinter opened their doors in 2011. This place is so much more than a seasonal garden center or family tourist attraction in the fall. The Bakery at Pinter's Gardens and Pumpkins serves up some tasty cupcakes that would be great to serve your family for the holidays! Start a new tradition that the family will love! There are so many cupcakes to choose from you won’t know what one to try first, but I bet you will be bringing home some for the family and friends! You can choose from Cookies-n-Cream, my personal favorite Raspberry Burst, Butterfinger, Chocolate Chip, Mint Dream, On the Farm, Peanut Butter Cup, Red Velvet, Lemon Raspberry (another of my favorites), Black Out for those chocoholics, Hot Fudge Sundae, Wuz up Doc, German Chocolate, and the Traditional Wedding Cake. My adventous daughter, Lisa, tried the “On the Farm” which has candied bacon bits on top of maple cream frosting and she loved it! She felt that the maple flavoring on the frosting combined with the bacon bits on top of it is the perfect taste combination.
You just have to stop in and try them to know how dreamy, melt in your mouth cupcakes they are. And while you’re there, you may want to stop for lunch. They have mouthwatering sandwiches, paninis, wraps, coffee, delicious homemade fudge, pies, scones, turnovers, cookies, cheesecake, and more with the dining room also available for parties and business luncheons. Menus can be found online.
The Tastes of the Season Open House and Holiday Shopping Event, is a great way to kick off your holiday shopping and get you in the mood for the holidays. Special savings will be awarded at the door as they serve delicious desserts along with an array of appetizers while you shop for holiday décor including wreath stands, wall art, stocking stuffers, wine bottle ornaments, and poinsettias. They also will have gift packages including: fudge, salsas, syrups, ice cream toppings, steak sauce, flavored butters – all packaged up for gift giving! These would make perfect gifts for all those special gifts you need to buy.
Even better yet, they have a special offer that is just too sweet to pass up through the whole holiday season. For every $20 spent on holiday gifts, décor and poinsettias, you receive a free cupcake! So there is no reason why you shouldn’t stop out and try a cupcake or two. The cupcake special does not include lunch or bakery purchases.
If a wedding is in the future, and with wedding cupcakes so popular, you may want cupcakes, instead of the traditional wedding cake. Pinter’s displays them on cupcake stands with a 6” cake topper that looks fabulous. They also can provide cheesecakes, pies, and bars for special occasions as well. Their current store and bakery hours are Tues-Sat: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed Nov. 28 – Dec. 2 for Thanksgiving holiday.)
If you are in the mood for a sweet treat, stop over and try a cupcake and no matter what the celebration may be, they know how to make your special day even more precious! For orders, contact them at 563-382-0010. The bakery, café and gift shop will be open until Dec. 21, then closed (except for large-quantity bakery orders) until April 1, 2014.
