Winneshiek Winter Music Festival runs the last weekend of January. The festival is a two-day event, featuring ten bands, who offer music across various genres. Some of the performers include Guilty Kilts, Joe and Vicki Price, and Mike Munson. You can enjoy the unique music blend of Irish, folk, and Scottish music while musicians James Lieder and Buck Towne are performing. Both Lieder and Towne are local artists from the Tri-State area who both play poignantly personal and magnetic music.
If you're yet to experience the incredible blues of Joe and Vicki Price, you're in for something special. The Prices, who are regular performers at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago, also appear in remarkable and vibrant live performances from coast to coast. Joe Price is originally from Iowa and has been deeply involved with blues since childhood.
Another must-watch act during the winter music festival is sure to be the Charles Walker Band. This Milwaukee-based band blends blues with R&B, funk, and Motown, and offers a unique sound.
Tickets: The early bird ticket price is just $10 for Friday night's shows (1/30) and $15 for Saturday night (1/31). The full weekend package price is available for $25.
