My Favorite Geocache

This past weekend, Laurie (aka Clown Shoes in geocaching circles) and I found almost 100 caches. People often ask me if I ever remember any particular geocaches, and if I do, which was my favorite?

Well, it just so happens that my favorite geocache is located right here in northeast Iowa.

My friends from Cresco, Tom and Mary Ellen (bettern know as looking4gems) were thoughtful enough to place a geocache for me on the occasion of my 10000th find. This cache called No Bluffin' Lagrac Surpasses 10,000!!GC2D35X on will take you to a little known part of Bluffton Iowa.

A short walk from the road will bring you high above the Iowa River, right on top of one of our areas many palisades. Besides the breath taking view, you'll find a nice ammo box filled with SWAG (Stuff We All Get) and a little notebook for signing and dating. Besides one of the best views from a cache in Iowa, the chance to visit this cache with my friends...yes, this was something that I will never forget.

So now that I've given you a brief description of the activity and told you about about my favorite cache, next time I'll tell you how you can go out and find your own "Tupperware in the Woods".
