Spend the Holidays in Edgewood

Join us in Edgewood, Iowa on December 2nd for a day filled with fun family activities.

The holidays are near, which means Santa will be visiting Welterlen Motors from 10am until 1pm. There will also be hot chocolate and homemade cookies from the Edgewood Women’s Club available. Kids will have the chance to write letters to send to the North Pole. Aunt Necee’s will be hosting Christmas shopping for kids from 9am until 11am. Be sure to stop at the Edgewood Public Library to make Christmas cards for our men and women overseas from 10am until 1pm. Garment’s and Goods will have many children's activities as well as painting, a bake sale, and silent auction. Special appearances will be made by the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who.

Local shops and businesses will be open on Saturday for you to finish up your holiday shopping. Donations for the local food banks are being accepted at each business in town as a part of the Edgewood Holiday Spirit Contest. The business with the most items donated will win the Holiday Spirit Award!

Later that night is the Edgewood Tour of Homes, which is from 5pm until 8pm. Check out the decorated homes on display around town. Tickets are available at Blooms, Kendrick Forest Products, Community Savings Bank, MissMares, Edgy Megs, Karl’s Grocery and The Markket. This event is sponsored by Forever Cabinets by Kendrick.
